PROJECT Genesis is a partnership program for individuals, church groups and students to share in the ministry God has given us.

Project Genesis is a short-term missions trip that gives all age groups the opportunity to experience NYC, to participate in urban ministry and to be exposed to aspects of camping ministry. The group is expected to demonstrate a servant’s heart while serving at the Carmel Campus and while joining CBF in evangelizing in the Kingsbridge area of the Bronx.

Project Genesis provides the opportunity to meet your group’s missions goals. This can be done in a time period that is convenient to you (1-10 days). The time spent at CBF may include an exposure trip to NYC, urban evangelism, work projects and, during the summer, a chance to participate in camp chapels. Many groups use this opportunity to try out new evangelistic techniques, puppet ministry or to showcase or hone skills already present. Our goal is that team members leave here with a greater burden for the lost. Our prayer is that every person be changed for life and be challenged to become involved in the Lord’s ministry.

"This week has been really educational for me. Jeff has inspired me to do things I never thought possible. It was an experience I won't forget!" Tim - Jacksonville, New Brunswick, Canada

"24 years as a Christian and I had no idea what serving the Lord was truly about!" Jacksonville, New Brunswick, Canada

"God has definitely used this week to stretche me. Any expectations I might have had were far exceeded. God showed me that by just taking that small step of obedience, He will provide and work through you to impact others. The exposure to the city definitely opened my eyes to almost a different world. I hope that as I leave I would put people in only two different categories; lost or saved, and not look so much at the outside appearance, but the heart." Jason, Cedarville University

"We have not because we ask not" I have seen the power of prayer unfolded in our lives. It was wonderful to see God prepare the hearts of people to receive the truth of the Gospel." Pastor, Ft. Myers, FL.

"The week has been great. The ministering in the city was a real eye opener to who is out there that needs the Lord. I've had a real chance to grow in the Lord and have a closer fellowship with God." Oakfield, Maine

"This trip really forced me to step out of my comfort zone, become bold, show courage and talk to strangers about the Gospel. By doing this, I overcame fears, became confident in myself, learned new things about myself and had an AWESOME time." Dunkirk, NY
